There's nothing quite so British... as a lovely warm cup of tea, made using fine loose leaves, lovingly crafted by tea masters, selected by experts and brewed by the ultimate tea connoisseur (that's you, by the way).
At Iford Manor we believe in putting quality and ethics before anything else: quality of flavour and production is ensured through 'rigorous' tastings by family, friends and longstanding customers, and ethical sourcing is monitored through explicitly establishing the commercial ethical policies of our trading partners.
The result is a range of teas with trust at its core.

25 November 2010 - New retail tins - soon to arrive on the website

Working with a few of our delicatessen and cafe clients, we've created some little retail tins which make for a lovely gift. These will shortly be available on the website, just as soon as I've found the camera to take some photos.

In essence, though, you can have pretty much any of our teas in a tin if you like, but it just costs you a couple of quid more - and then you can refill the tin with the normal bags. Just request it in your order email.

20 June 2010 - The Chai-cycle

It's all rather exciting: Iford Manor Teas has been chosen as the exclusive tea partner of "The Chai-cycle", a promotional project running during the 2010 London Festival of Architecture this month.

We will be sponsoring this charitable venture by providing them with our popular "Masala Chai Blend", which they will be preparing in the traditional Indian fashion over a stove, from the back of their mobile tea house (pulled by two bicycles!). The resultant spiced milky liquor will be purveyed to the fine people of Stratford, the South Bank, and other areas of London as they trundle from event to event.

Having recently acquired the trade of First Class Teas, Iford Manor Teas is developing a new website with greater capability and user-friendliness. Over time it will be uploaded and fully functional. This site is somewhat transitory therefore..

In order to be able to continue to supply our personally selected fine teas to our loyal customers and friends, you can email us with your requirements, and we'll get back to you with a PayPal payment request. Not ideal, but at least you won't run out of our tea. Those who have ordered from FCT in the past can therefore purchase much of their old selection here.
