Japanese Cast Ironware

Stunning Ironware from the Iwachu Foundry in Morioka, Japan.  A family business, their skilled artisans and metalworkers have been hand pouring and hand-finishing teapots using sand moulds for generations.

The cast iron, weighty teapots make a real statement, and they are easy to use, being enamel coated inside for easy cleaning and to comply with strict food-safety laws in Europe.  They have stainless steel baskets too, which makes leaf tea really easy to deal with.
